Nixie have been designing super cool pieces for children in their East London studio for several years. With their collections growing in strength, this season sees a flurry of vintage inspired but wearable pieces.
For this season Nixie reimagines native and bohemian concepts into an urban setting, the contrast between concrete and colour and the combination of man made and natural textures work together to create a collection that is both modern and magical.
They have the ability to create without design limits even though only using sustainable and vintage fabrics in the production of the A/W12 collection.
Nixie's A/W 12 collection has a strong bohemian and vintage vibe, combining sustainable materials and vintage silk scarves.

Nixie have exclusively allowed for Millie Is Wearing readers to have a sneak peak of their S/S 13 collection. This collection sees them enter into a new spacey dimension, easy to wear pieces made from organic jersey, this collection is inspired by Bowie's alter ego Ziggy Stardust.
This conceptual and graphic collection of eight pieces balances Nixie’s core ethic of sustainability and design-led quality with a quirky humorous aesthetic.
Nixie has created a constellation of form and colour in two glam slam colour ways; muted mink, baby pink and caterpillar green or space-suit grey, nova pink and celestial turquoise.
To purchase pieces you can visit their East End studio in Hackney, online or Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge as well as selected stores across the UK.
