Swedish Hasbeens

Millie has had Swedish Hasbeens before and she thought she was really grown up in heels, but of course they didn't look like heels they just looked cute! Happy all around!

Millie's were tan in colour, however going on their main site I have spotted these great metallic versions! They come in all manor of differing styles and colours.

Vans

I love Vans, I have always loved Vans from a very young age, when I found out my hero Tony Alva (the skater) released his own design! I used to pretend I was a member of Dogtown and Z Boys (still do!).

Vans have had some absolute crazy designs in the past and these Cat Vans are up there with crazy! Mirroring the trend of all thing psychedelic , these just need to be teamed with very plain outfit, such as black leggings to let the sneakers do the talking!!!

Millie does favour the slip on versions however, as they are easier to slip on and save a lot of time in the morning!

Bensimon

Whether its the stripe ticking design of the lace ups or the slip on classic bold colours you can rely on Bensimon shoes to give any outfit a touch of Italian laid back style!

They are great beach shoes also! We love you Bension!

Pepe

Pepe are an Italian brand that produce good quality fuss free leather shoes! Whether its their Mary Janes or their flat sandals you know that you are getting extremely good quality shoes that will fit well and last and last!

The sandals for SS14 will look great with a girly dress, or if like Millie more or a Tom Boy the wear with ankle grazer jeans for a grown up sophisticated feel!

TUK

Millie had a pair of creepers a few years ago for Camp Bestival and the amount of attention she got was so funny! Underground and TUK being the main pioneers, who do cater for children!

Miller

I spotted these Miller shoes some time ago! I fell in love and just need to get them for Millie!

The bright acid green / yellow colourway of this Mary Jane's are just calling out for a pair of navy tights a super colourful dress and a big pom pom head band!

Converse 

Converse Chucks Taylor's have to be the most famous and most popular baseball boot ever! Millie has a pair in all colours (ok some aren't actually Converse) and she wears them for school (opps) and weekends! They go with anything and definitely add a touch of American "preppy" to a look! Very cool for girls of a certain near teen age!

TEES Please!

Prints on t-shirts can become something of a on off relationship! There is a fine line for printed tees looking chic and on trend or looking cheap and tacky!

Millie Is Wearing has put together a collection of printed t-shirts that are super cool!

Once upon a time there was a clothing brand that spoke the language that children speak...

Bobo Choses design comfortable pieces and carefully select colours to go hand in hand with playful, poetic and imaginative prints.

The no gravity brand for kids, created under the full moon.

I am slightly in love with this brand, their designs and colour palette for SS14 are perfect! But the main reason really is the use of Unicorns! You can't deny that Unicorns are the coolest illustrations for girls!

These leggings are sure to be on the shopping list!

The twist in the designs are clever, with the frilled not too OTT arms of the vest tops are effective and the cut of the trouser with off centre buttons are just super cool!

Polder is a Parisian womenswear brand who presented their first kids collection in 2007. So you can only expect chic and effortless designs from Paris!

Todays outfit is from Kin for John Lewis.

Kin has been the go to recently when it comes to stylish, simple grown up pieces.

Camilla Rowe, John Lewis head buyer highlights this when talking about the Scandinavian inspired label. "This is not a seasonally trend-driven brand; it's about modern, stylish pieces that you can get some sort of longevity from. Kin offers beautifully cut separates that transcend seasons."

Millies navy and white wave print dress is so easy to wear, and I like the contrast of the pattern of the dress and the bright block colour of the tights and hat!

Mill-I-Am

To add a quirky look to any outfit try some oversized glasses! Will-I-Am has championed this look, but these glasses from Primark women's look extra cool because they are too big for Millie's face!

The 90's is still big news!

The 90's trend is still big news, and jumping on this is H&M with the Smiley Acid faced leggings! These are actually womens (size 8) but because Millie is so tall, she fits in to these!

I love these leggings from Bang Bang Copenhagen! They are crazy but cool enough to appeal to children, especially of Millie's age!

The obsession of taking selfies has been filtered in to fashion, with the abundance of slogan tees highlighting this! Slogan tees have been pushed to the forefront of fashion recently. So this tee from H&M is perfect for being on trend! I also like the message!

The spot coat from H&M has been a staple for some time! I bought it in a size up, to make sure she won't grow out of it too quickly! The thin fabric means its great as a cardi style cover up on colder days or a light jacket on warmer days!

This pretty silk bomber from Zara would be great teamed with simple skinnys, or even better just go all out and team with crazy pattered leggings!!!

Hair accessories are still around, and the floral garland from Primark that for £3 looks much more expensive! Its really good quality! It will serve Millie well for the sumer festival season!
