Off to a small eco festival should be fun! The outfit will have to allow Millie to get involved with the activities such as yoga and circus tricks, so again something robust but comfy!
Millie is wearing... a floral Paul Smith shirt, skinny jeggings, 70's furry gillet, Kangol hat and Chelsea boots!
The trend for skinny jeans is still very strong for both adults and children alike. Jeggings (whether you like them or not) are perfect for little ones tummys! The elastic waistband means they are so much more comfy and going to the loo is less of a tricky task!
The big trend for Spring Summer 11 has been prints with floral being at the forefront, a mass of blooms in every colour adorn skirts, shirts, shorts and footwear. The catwalk was full of floral and patterns with Erdem and D&G being floral forward in their collections... beautiful!
The floral shirt was a bargain from eBay, if you know what you are looking for you probably likely to find it on eBay! A little bow has been added to the shirt to add that little bit of quirkiness cool, inspired by Alexa Chung and her famous androgynous tux outfit.
I have tucked in the shirt to the high waisted jean jeggings to give a nod to the 70's trend that is around at the moment and I have turned up the hem of the jeans to shows bright socks in a fun kooky way!
The furry gillet was a great find and I bought it in an age bigger so it will last, as it makes any outfit look retro cool.
I love the classic Kangol hat it has come in handy in many occasions and is a great alternative to a standard sun hat! Millie loves it and everytime she wears it, she reminds me of Holly Hobby! Cute! I have added sturdy Chelsea boots to complete the dandy look.
