Oh look what I found!

Peacock Bath mat!

Just come across an amazing website... www.littlezebra.com

The site is run by three sisters, who after becoming mums were unable to find fun and stylish things for their little ones. Therefore they set up the site selling only things they approve of.

There is a wide range of lovely things to buy ranging from fashion to homeware for that quirky yet chic lifestyle!

I love these handmade Hats!

Love this funky school bag, that comes in lots of bright colours!

Millie defo needs this suitcase for when we go away!

Iron on Bunny!

I am just overwhelmed by all the lovely things from this site that I needed to list items that don't fall into "fashion", so I have listed things that "caught my eye!" Have a look!

Lots of frames to mount Millie's artwork!

Beautiful wall stickers to brighten any room!

Super cool tents!

Funky storage boxes!

Cute seating designs!

The best range of bedside lamps I've seen!

Phew! So much to look at I need to sit down and have a cuppa served on a retro tray sold on Little Zebra... Oh did I forget to say, they sell stuff for mums too!!!

Superhero Chic

Millie is wearing... Superhero Chic!

On the catwalk it seems that Superhero inspiration is everywhere! This was seen in abundance from Jeremy Scott for A/W 11:

What with the new Batman and Captain America films soon to be released, t-shirts and Superhero inspired apparel is available everywhere! This trend is just perfect for all kids big or small!

Key designs to look out for: 'stars', 'stripes' and 'lightening'.

Look out for pieces from high street stores, especially H&M, Zara and even supermarkets such as Asda!

But I love these tees from a company called "babypop" that are listing in www.etsy.com :

You don't have to dress up in full on costume, just take a few pieces that have the inspiration! Zara have a fantastic shirt for this season that highlights this:

Or the funky trousers from Nordic Kids:

Or these items that are to be sure to give super powers:

Trends for AW 11/12

Silhouette give a nod to the Sporty Retro

The next trend prediction for girls for AW 11/12 is just so "Millie is wearing...!"

Again I will outline a few key details and then show exampes of actual products in store in the sales now to carry through to AW 11/12.

The next trend mood is a desire to stand out with a humorous spin. Vintage pieces are found for an energetic style more demonstrative than nostalgic!

Urban Silhouttes with retro oriental styling

The colour palette swings both between calm and spectacular, in sassy harmonies with a predominance of reddish hues. Fabrics also play with contrasts with a mix of matt and shine.

Take influences from Street Ballet

I love this great dress by Plastisock from www.nordickids.co.uk (below) it has a lovely oriential feel to it, but in a retro way. Team this with some skinny jeans, leg warmers and flat boots for that sport relax look.

Dress from Plastisock at www.nordickids.co.uk was £59.99 Now £30.00
